Technocor and Lännen Tractors OY: Beginning of Partnership
This step towards beginning of long-term cooperation between the companies resulted from serious preliminary work, negotiations conducted in the office of Technocor Company in Saint Petersburg, at Lännen Tractors plant in Loimaa (Finland) as well as from tests of the products on the testing grounds of Lännen Tractors plant by representatives of Technocor Company.
The executives of Technocor Company personally tested the multifunctional municipal Lännen Lundberg 4200 Ls machine: “The machine has excellent speed characteristics: it can move at the speed of up to 50 km/hour”, shares his impressions Andrei Reznikov, general manager of Technocor, “besides, it evokes the sensation of genuinely Scandinavian reliability and highest quality of mounting combined with high maneuverability and ergonomics”.
The excellent speed characteristics of the machine, a fuel tank of 84 liter and ergonomic operation (fuel consumption of 5-7 L/hour) allow to speak about the high self-containment of universal Lännen Lundberg machines: their design features ensure continuous operation during the entire working shift of the operator with the possibility of remote operation at the maximum distance from the base.
A test ride on “Big Scandinavian Bear”, the heaviest backhoe loader in the family of Lännen 8800G wheel-mounted backhoe loaders, was also performed during Technocor visit to Loimaa. This giant equipped with an engine of 162 h.p. has a fully armoured bottom and 4-wheel drive, weighs 12.5 tons and at the same time can make a U-turn within a 5-meter radius and move at the speed of 45 km/hour. The maneuverability of the vehicle is ensured by means of an articulated frame.
At the plant the guests were also shown a production innovation: a Lännen 8800i wheel-mounted backhoe loader, the model launched in serial production just in the late 2012. The machine is equipped with a new engine of Stage 3B classification with a selective system of exhaust gases treatment, SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction). The new engine of Lännen 8800i model has lost 1.4 horse power only but the fuel consumption, however, has reduced by 10% while the torque has grown from 696 Nm to 708 Nm.
The first show of "Lännen 8800i backhoe loader took place just a little more than a year ago at MaskinExpo-2012 Exhibition in Stokholm.
However, there is already every reason to believe that Lännen 8800G and Lännen 8800i backhoe loaders declared by the manufacturer as “the most powerful machines on the market” and impressing by their might and magnificent design as well as their “junior brother” - Lännen 8600G backhoe loader will be in demand with Russian specialists for all types of infrastructure projects: in road building, municipal economy, railway repair and maintenance, mounting of PTL and telecommunication networks, etc..

Lännen backhoe loaders are universal general-purpose machines produced in various embodiment formulas:
- "Two in one”. A maneuverable loader and excavator in one machine. Its excellent maneuverability allows use of the backhoe loader in the limited space of urban streets as well as operations outside the city.
